Are files virus checked during file transfer?

No, files are not virus checked during file transfer. Please notify your user of this and make sure that they are aware of this.

What is the maximum file size allowed for file transfer?

There is no size limit to a file transfer. Please be aware that the speed of a file transfer is based on the size of the file and the speed of the network between you and the other user. A large file and and/or slow network speed will mean longer transfer times.

Can I do "hands-off" support with HP Virtual Support Room?

No. HP Virtual Support Room requires a user on the other PC in order to perform support work on that PC. It requires a user to respond to pop up windows to perform support tasks.

What are the hardware and software requirements?

HP Virtual Support Room only works on Microsoft Windows-based PCs. The client software is less than 600K bytes. It does not require PC administration rights and is downloaded into a temporary directory.

HP Virtual Support Room does not support other operating systems at this time.
