The ASE – ProCurve Networking and Mobility  certification will become inactive on October 1, 2010; it has been superseded by ASE – HP ProCurve Mobility . If you have completed the training courses and would like to obtain the  credential, you must pass all the required exams by October 1, 2010. If you have not begun the  credential, we recommend you obtain the most current credential, ASE – HP ProCurve Mobility .

Accredited Systems Engineer
Given customer business requirements, an ASE (Accredited System Engineer) is able to design, implement, and troubleshoot a ProCurve-based network solution with the following elements: advanced switching and interior routing for IP networks, core and edge network infrastructure incorporating backbones, VLANs, and network access security.
